FANS of Washington Park
Friends and Neighbors (FANS) of Washington Park is a Registered Neighborhood Organization (RNO) and a not for profit 501(c)3 organization established in 2006. FANS advocates for Washington Park and is committed to: conservation for future generations, education for park users and providing a voice for the park with the City.
FANS meet monthly on the second Wednesday at the Dos Chappell Bath House from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m
FANS activities include monthly speakers on topics related to the park, publishing the Washington Park Tree Guide, volunteer activities, maintaining the FANS website with current park information and notifying and educating FANS members and the larger community about proposed park projects and uses.

The guest speaker for the Friends and Neighbors (FANS) of Washington Park September meeting will be Adrienne Burton, West Denver Parks Planner/Planning, Design and Construction, Parks and Recreation/ City and County of Denver. She will be accompanied by Gordon Robertson, Director for the Planning, Design and Construction Division, which oversees all capital planning and project management services for Denver Parks and Recreation, and John Martinez, Deputy Executive Director of Recreation for DPR. Please consider attending if you’re interested in Denver’s parks, specifically what’s happened and is planned for Washington park.
